Now showing... the Trio Living Collection

It started as a celebration of the competion of Trio North but has taken on a life of its own. The Trio Living Collection is a group of creative display homes designed by an eclectic collectioin of designers, architects, stylists and retailers. We currently have 11 - yes, that's 11! - display apartments, showcasing all that is desirable, distinctive and fabulous about living at Trio.

The Trio Living Collection features both one-bedroom and two two-bedroom apartments, celebrating all our interior colour schemes and both West and East views.

Uber-architect William Smart of Smart Design Studio has used bespoke joinery and Smart's trademark intelligent design to a couple of apartments so far. The international design gurus at Frost* Design (pictured above) have applied their graphic design genius to the challenge of creating a living space (it's unlikely to be dull). Coco Republic's signature style is on display, and Senija Lukacevic of Focus Design and Natasha Golding of Imago Interiors have created homes so welcoming you simply won't want to leave.

The Trio Living Collection is a movable feast of design ideas... as each apartment is styled it quickly sells to a lucky new resident, then our teams move in to relocate all the furnishings to another apartment. Each time we move the scheme is reinvented - differnet wallpaper, new cushions, new light fixtures - proving for once and for all that briliant interiors are all about homes with good bones plus a bit of imagination.

Our design crew is joined by Move-in this week, opening two new display apartments in Trio Central. Move-in's 'Very Green'  scheme is very fresh, using sustainable materials and with its own carbon offset contribution. More on Move-in here.

Almost every one of our Trio Living Collection apartments has been sold, so we're creating more, more, more. It's so exciting seeing each of these homes find an owner. We've asked the clever women at Move-in to join the team, creating two apartments for Trio - one super-afordable, one very green. Four more creative apartments will open mid-August, as we open the doors to Trio Central.

If you'd ever wondered, we can now confirm that Sydney is full of interior voyeurs. 500 people have dropped in to Trio North to visit the Trio Living Collection since we first propped open the doors a few weeks ago. We sold some of the display apartments straight away, so we're busily creating new ones. New to the design team is Zahava Elenberg from Move-in, who will unveil her witty 'eco scheme' in a week or so.

Following our super-sneak preview last weekend, we open the Trio Living Collection to the wide world tomorrow. Smart Design Studio's nautical 2 bedroom apartment has completed just in time for the grand opening, and two more apartments have already been comissioned. Three - yes, that's three - of the display apartments sold last weekend, how's that for the power of great design? This project has just begun...

The Trio Living Collection is open every day - just drop in, 10am to 6pm, Booth Street (cnr Alexandra Drive), Camperdown.
