Celebrating the history of City Quarter

Her Excellency the Governor of NSW, Professor Marie Bashir, formally opened the nurses' commemorative garden at City Quarter in November 2009, speaking with great warmth and pride about her time working at the Royal Alexandra Hopital for Chidren in the 1950s. The garden, located at the bend of Alexandra Drive between Altro and the Terraces, celebrates generations of caring by the graduate nurses of the Hospital.
